Torao is a merchant in the S-rank adventurer party, Blue Ring. He is kicked out of the group after being caught secretly providing financial support to Garnet, a rookie all-female adventurer party. Following his exile, Torao leaves them with a stern warning, but Blue Ring ignores it and recklessly challenges the Demon King, leading to their total annihilation. Torao subsequently joins Garnet.
